About Our Rosemount Fishing Team

We are a youth fishing team consisting of Boys & Girls in grades 2-12 that attend schools around the Rosemount, Minnesota area. We compete in multiple leagues around the state. Our team has monthly team meetings where we focus on fishing education & environmental stewardship. We are a self-funded program that relies on business sponsorships and fundraisers to support our mission to get kids outdoors and on the water.

Team Background

The Rosemount Irish Fishing Team was created in 2018. 2026 will be our 9th year. In those years we have grown and expanded the opportunities available to our youth anglers. In 2018, we started with 8 kids fishing in 1 league. W have grown to having over 60 kids representing 3 different age groups and competing in 5 different leagues, plus the High School World Championship. Please checkout our alumni page to explore where our alumni have moved on to compete as college anglers.
